OUR HISTORY-

Desouza Farms was not born in a boardroom. It was born in the fields, under the sun, in the hands of those who grow what the world eats—but earn the least from it.

Founded by Rayanpaul and Santosh , Desouza Farms began with a shared vision: to build an India where farmers are exporters, not just producers. Coming from humble roots, both founders had personally witnessed how middlemen, price manipulation, and lack of access kept rural communities in a cycle of poverty.

After losing 4 lakh rupees to a fake job agency abroad, Santosh turned heartbreak into a mission. Around the same time, Rayanpaul—an expert in rural development and grassroots mobilisation—was already working on sustainable agricultural projects. Their paths crossed with one goal: to create a farmer-first export company that cuts out the middlemen and puts power back into the hands of the grower.

Starting with wild forest honey from the Western Ghats, Desouza Farms quickly expanded to include premium rice, sugar, millets, pulses, and high-value spices. With every product, the promise remained the same:

What began as a two-man initiative has now grown into a movement across Khanapur, Belgaum, and beyond. Our model combines modern training, government schemes, and export support to ensure every farmer earns above market price and gains long-term dignity.
